KUALA LUMPUR: Kajang-based property developer, MKH Bhd, expects its sales to hit RM800 million for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2014 (FY14) in conjunction with the launch of its nationwide property carnival.

MKH managing director Tan Sri Eddy Chen said the group’s property sales had accelerated this year to RM280 million as at February.

“The result has put us on the right track to meet our target of RM800 million sales this year, supported by new gross development value [GDV] of RM1.6 billion from the eight planned projects this year,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The group’s sales for FY13 stood at RM580 million, he said.

MKH has a total GDV of RM8 billion, with the remaining GDV of RM6.5 billion beyond FY14 to be developed over the next five years.

The carnival, themed “MKH Treasures You”, will run for six months from March 11 to Aug 30.

Chen said the carnival aimed at rewarding customers for their support and provided an opportunity for MKH to showcase its array of properties.

“This is our way of giving back to our buyers, an appreciation of their support throughout our 33-year journey.

“Every customer who purchases any of MKH’s participating projects during this period will instantly get a collectible gold coin and an Ipad, plus an entry to a lucky draw to win grand prizes,” he said.

The grand prizes include a MKH signature home, MKH Boulevard, Honda CRV or a Toyota Vios.

The 10 participating projects are Saville@The Park, Bangsar; Saville@Cheras; Hillpark Shah Alam; Kajang East; MKH Boulevard; Saville@Kajang; Pelangi Heights; Kajang 2; Hillpark Home 3; and MKH Avenue II.

According to Chen, as MKH targets mainly the mass-market segment this year, the projects are priced from RM300,000 and above. — Bernama
