OSK launches second phase of semidees at Bangi Lakehill Villas

KUALA LUMPUR: OSK Property's phase 2 Bangi Lakehill Villas in Bangi, Selangor launched in May this year has been 60% taken up.

Phase 2 saw the release of 16 Seri Villas and 26 Suria Villas. Phase 1 of the development, which released 15 Seri Villas and 15 Suria Villas late last year, is 100% sold.

"The whole development which covers 12 acres of leasehold land, will have a one-point entry system with guard and perimeter fencing," Gerard Tan, COO and executive director of OSK Property told theedgeproperty.com.

Bangi Lakehill Villas has a gross development value (GDV) of RM75 million and comprises 74 semidees, said Tan. There are two types of houses: the 2-storey Seri Villa and 2½ -storey Suria Villa.

The starting bumiputera prices are RM987,120 and RM1.1 million respectively. The majority of buyers are Malay professionals and businesspersons. Construction has started and should be completed by 3Q2011. The built-ups range from 3,484 sq ft to 4,408 sq ft with land areas of 45 ft by 80 ft and 45 ft by 90 ft or 100 ft.

"The houses are built according to the contour of the land and those on elevated ground will have a good view of Bangi Golf Club. Additionally, the houses come with an alarm system, solar water heater and air-conditioning," said Tan.

The development is accessible through the North-South Highway and SILK Highway.

Mon't Jade, Seremban
Another development being prepared for launch by OSK property is Phase 2 of its Mon't Jade development in Seremban comprising semi detached houses, but no date has been set yet.

"Some final amendments to the plans are being made and once that is completed and approved, we will launch Phase 2 soon," said Tan.

Mon't Jade's Phase 2 will showcase about 50 units made up of 2-storey semidee houses and a single-storey semidee. Prices start from RM450,000 while lot sizes range from 26 ft by 90 ft to 42 ft by 110 ft. Built-up starts from 1,700 sq ft. The phase 2 development has a gross development value (GDV) of RM24.3 million and sits on 53 acres of freehold land.
