Quek redesignated as non-executive director in Dijaya

KUALA LUMOUR: Quek Cham Hong has been redesignated as a non-executive director of Dijaya Corporation Bhd, the group announced on Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, Sept 8.

Quek was previously an executive director of the group. The 49-year-old, who has over 24 years of experience in the property development, property management and construction industries joined Tropicana Golf & Country Resort Bhd in 1993 as a project manager.

During his 17 years with the group, he was promoted to senior project manager in 1995, assistant general manager in 1999, general manager in 2001 and senior general manager in 2002 before his appointment as executive director in February 2007.

Quek has a bachelor of science in housing, building and planning (honours) with a major in project management and building economics from the University of Science Malaysia and is an incorporated member of the Chartered Institute of Building (UK).
