SINGAPORE: SC Global Developments Ltd has announced three commercial tenants for its Martin No 38 mixed development, close to the Singapore River.

The first tenant is The Mill, a "hip boutique gymnasium" that specialises in providing customised training programmes. The gym is managed by body builders Augustine Lee and Joan Liew, the duo behind the Fitness Factory gym at Boat Quay.

The other two tenants at Martin No 38 are restaurants Graze and Kha. It will be the second outlet for Graze, which specialises in home-cooked food and organic produce, whereas Thai restaurant Kha will be relocating from its current location in Hort-Park.

"This is the first time that a residential development in Singapore has handpicked specific brands and services to create a complete living experience tailored to the lifestyle of its residents," says Simon Cheong, chairman and CEO of SC Global Developments.

"It is yet another step in our desire to innovate lifestyles, following our mantra of providing The Ultimate Living."

Owners of Martin No 38 will be offered exclusive preferential membership packages at The Mill  and they can also enjoy preferential rates when they sign up for training at Fitness Factory over at Boat Quay.

Martin No 38, designed by Kerry Hill, is a 91-unit freehold project comprising loft units. Since its debut in August 2008, 60% of the units have been sold, at prices ranging from S$2,400 to S$2,500 (RM5,757.12 to RM5,997) psf. The remaining units are not expected to be released until the completion of the development, which is scheduled for 2H2011. — The Edge Singapore
