BANGKOK: Best Western International, the world's largest hotel chain — has awarded three of its Danish Hotels the Excellence In Quality 2011 award.

This award recognises Best Western properties that maintain a very high degree of quality in their hotels.

The hotels that have been graced with the award this year are the Best Western Hotel Europa in Aabenraa, which is managed by Helle Taulbjerg; the Best Western Hotel Ny Skovlund in Holstebro, which is managed by Gitte Stenz; and the Best Western Hotel Scheelsminde in Aalborg, which is managed by Anemette Bühlman.

The award is a reinforcement of the fact that guests of these Best Western hotels receive quality service that is of a high and exacting standard. According to its Denmark regional office country manager Peter Laigaard Jensen, the credit for the achievement is attributed entirely to the hotel managers and their talented staff members.

"We at Best Western are proud of this award and all three hotels have made themselves fully deserving over the last few years with  continuous work with Best Western's quality program which each day helps to ensure the high quality and competitiveness of the hotel," said Jensen.

Best Western was a pioneer in the hotel industry in 1946 and has since grown into an iconic brand which supports over 4,000 independently owned and operated member hotels in 90 countries and territories worldwide. Best Western is equally committed to the business and leisure traveler and has embarked on a mission to lead the hotel industry in customer care.
