KUALA LUMPUR: TRC Synergy Bhd posted a net profit of RM7.51 million for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010, on the back of revenue RM97.03 million.
Comparatively, the company posted a net profit of RM11.5 million in the same quarter a year ago, and RM3.05 million in the preceding quarter.
The company said on Tuesday, Aug 25 that the improved results in the current quarter is due to increased contributions from the on-going projects together with the contribution from a few new projects that commenced during the quarter.
It expects several construction projects locally and in Cambodia worth over RM130 million to contribute positively to its current financial year’s earnings.
