KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): Trinity Group Sdn Bhd has appointed Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd (PPC) to work on its The Z Residence condo project in Bukit Jalil.

The group had awarded the RM225 million contract to PPC to ensure that the quality of the project is achieved while maintaining sustainability in site planning and project management, the group announced in a statement on Monday.

"We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our customers. As our customers are at the centre of everything we do, we strive for excellence by maintaining the highest possible standards at every step in our supply chain. We have chosen to work with PPC as they have proven their capabilities in undertaking fast-track projects well ahead of schedule," said Trinity Group managing director Datuk Neoh Soo Keat.

Meanwhile, PPC CEO Cheah Ham Cheia said: "With a team of highly-skilled and experienced staff, we will strive to ensure that the construction of The Z Residence will progress smoothly with minimal hiccups. By joining forces with Trinity Group, we endeavour to accomplish Trinity Group's mission in redefining the concept of luxury living, and offering this lifestyle to their customers with an affordable price tag."

PPC is a subsidiary of Putrajaya Perdana Bhd. In the past, it had worked on the Federal Government Administration Centres in Putrajaya, which entails building government complexes, township development, infrastructure projects and niche green buildings.

In addition, its other projects include the 50-storey Pavilion Residences and 35-storey MARC Service Suites in Kuala Lumpur, and the 30-storey One Menerung in Bangsar. It is also the first construction company in the country to be awarded with the 5-S Certification by SIRIM-HK5SA.

The Z Residence comprises four blocks that are 26- and 27-stories. Facilities include a floating garden, an infinity pool and sky lounges at the top of each tower.

There are 1,136 units in total, with built-ups from 1,232 to 1,407 sq ft. Since its launch in September last year, over 85% of the units have been taken up.

Currently, piling works have been completed and foundation and structural works are underway.

The project is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
