KUALA LUMPUR: United Malayan Land Bhd (UMLand) unit Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd is teaming up with Singapore's Raffles Campus Pte Ltd to develop a RM35 million campus in Iskandar Malaysia.

UMLand and Raffles signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday, Apr 18 to form a joint-venture company to acquire a 15-acre (6ha) piece of freehold land in Bandar Seri Alam to develop an international school to be tenanted to Raffles on a long-term lease. The project would be carried out over four to five years.

The campus will be managed and operated by Raffles as its first campus in Malaysia with its projected first student intake by end-2013. — Bernama
