KUALA LUMPUR: WCT Bhd has sold 70% of its 103 double-storey semi-detached houses called Gardia in its Bandar Parklands Bukit Tinggi 3 township in Klang. The houses were launched at the end of February, and sit on 98 out of 427 acres that the Bandar Parklands Bukit Tinggi 3 township is made up of.

The Gardia semi-Ds, within a gated and guarded precinct, has a gross development value (GDV) of RM64 million.

"Every unit is a corner unit with its own private garden," said a spokesperson from the developer.

The units come in two types. There is the 32 ft x 65 ft unit, with a build-up of 2,175 sq ft and selling from RM528,800. The other is the 34 ft x 65 ft unit, with a build-up of 2,362 sq ft and tagged at RM588,000.

In April, 36 double storey bungalows will be launched. The lot sizes are 70 ft x 97 ft, with a gross build-up of 3,938 sq ft. Prices start from RM1.65 million.

Bandar Parklands Bukit Tinggi 3 is a mixed development launched in March 2005. Its estimated GDV is RM1.02 billion. To date, about 600 houses have been completed and handed over. It is also part of a bigger integrated township development that covers 1,346 acres. The other parcels of land are divided into Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1 (357 acres) and Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2 (562 acres).

Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1 — with an estimated GDV of RM1.9 billion — was launched in 1998, and it is fully-developed by 2010. It has since handed over 6,015 units of residential and commercial properties.

Meanwhile, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2 was launched in 2001, and is expected to complete by 2012. To date, about 5,721 residential and commercial units are completed and handed over. The GDV is about RM1.5 billion.

WCT is in the construction and property industry. On the peninsular, it has also developed the Paradigm, a mixed-development project in Petaling Jaya. In Sabah, it developed d'Banyan Residency@Sutera, Kota Kinabalu — a residential enclave with golf views. Moreover, it was involved in the development of office tower, SOHO, business class hotel and shopping mall called Platinum Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
