Wing Tai to acquire land for RM75m

KUALA LUMPUR: Wing Tai Malaysia Bhd (Wing Tai) is acquiring a freehold tract in Kuala Lumpur for RM75 million for future residential development.

Wing Tai — via its subsidiary D&P-Ejenawa Sdn Bhd — entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Canada for proposed purchase of the tract identified as Lot 326 held under Title No GRN 66452, Section 89A, Town and District of Kuala Lumpur, it said in a Bursa announcement on Wednesday, Jan 12.

Other information on the development of the 2.31-acre tract such as the total development cost, the number of units to be developed and the expected start and end date will be determined at a later stage.

A copy of the Agreement is available for inspection during normal business hours at the registered office of Wing Tai at Securities Services (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, Suite 18.05, MWE Plaza, No 8, Lebuh Farquhar, 10200 Penang, from Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) for a period of 14 days from Wednesday.
