KUALA LUMPUR: Zerin Properties Sdn Bhd has clinched two local awards in the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011 this year, said its CEO Previndran Singhe.

"It's always great to win the Asia Pacific Property Awards and to win the awards three times in a year as a testament not just to our team at Zerin Properties but to Malaysian companies as well, being able to stand amongst the big boys in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific. It's a true testament to being Malaysian and proud of it," he told theedgeproperty.com.

The real estate agency and consultancy bagged a Highly Commended award in the property consultancy marketing category for sealing the RM333 million-1Mont'Kiara deal with ARA Asia Dragon Fund, which is affiliated to Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka Shing-linked Cheong Kong Group.

The deal entailed a portion of the mixed-development which covers a 20-storey office tower with a net lettable area of 185,000 sq ft and a five-storey shopping complex with a gross floor area of 225,000 sq ft to the fund.

Meanwhile, Zerin Properties' Office Space division's website www.officespace.com.my garnered the agency another Highly Commended award for best commercial website. The agency had also recently launched applications for iPhones, iPads and Blackberry smartphones to enhance its services.

The Asia Pacific Property Awards, held in association with Bloomberg Television, aims to recognise the best real-estate professionals across the region.
