Bangkok condominium market cools down for 1Q 2011

BANGKOK: Concerns regarding an overheating condominium market supply were allayed in the first quarter (1Q) of 2011 with a fall of around 46% of new launches compared to the previous quarter according to the latest Condominium Market Report from Colliers International Thailand.

Lloyds eyes property deal with UK's Grainger

LONDON: Part-nationalised British bank Lloyds is eyeing a deal with the UK's largest listed housing landlord Grainger aimed at restoring the value of Lloyds' housing portfolio which got hit by the credit crisis.

A Lloyds spokesman said on Tuesday, Apr 26  that Grainger had been picked as Lloyds' preferred supplier for its "residential property asset management platform".
