KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 7): Tan Sri Lim Keng Cheng and Datuk Lim Keng Guan are stepping down from their roles in companies linked to their uncle, Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo, 70, to focus on Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd (KL:LSH), where they both hold controlling stakes.

PETALING JAYA (May 1): Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity), one of Eastern Johor Bahru's largest waterfront landowners with a freehold-dominant landbank straddling the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) corridor, has filed its annual report and corporate governance report for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY2025) with Bursa Malaysia.

PETALING JAYA (April 28): Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity) has secured a further nine-month extension to January 27, 2027 to evaluate Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo's proposed reorganisation, rationalisation and merger, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday.

The request for a fifth extension to April 27, 2026, is for more time for the company to assess the proposed move and commence negotiations on terms of a binding heads of agreement between parties.

The first extension was from Oct 28, 2023 to Jan 27, 2024, second from April 28, 2024 to July 27, 2024, and a third from October 2024 to April 27, 2025.

Bursa has the right to proceed to suspend the trading of the listed securities of IWCity and to de-list the company if IWCity fails to submit the regularisation plan before Sept 24, fails to obtain approval from any of the regulatory authorities necessary for the implementation of its regularisation plan or fails to implement its regularisation plan within the time frame or extended time frame stipulated by any of the regulatory authorities.

Its previous external auditor Messrs Ernst & Young PLT (EY) has resigned KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 7): Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity) has appointed Messrs Crowe Malaysia PLT as its new external auditor.

Its construction business was also weighed by higher material and operating costs, including administrative costs and finance costs, the property developer said in a stock exchange filing.
