Arden is the first component of Phase 3, which will also include a shopping mall and a five-star hotel, of the One Bukit Senyum development, the flagship project of Astaka, and is located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.

In a joint statement on Friday, the companies said that the project is related to phase three of Arden @ One Bukit Senyum, which is slated to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024, with construction expected to be completed within 48 months.

Kimlun said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kimlun Sdn Bhd received the award as the main contractor for the Aliva Mount Austin residential project from Astaka Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Singapore-listed Astaka Holdings Limited.
The project, which is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, is expected to contribute positively to Kimlun Group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years during the contract period.
Sarawak’s commitment to infrastructure growth is evident through the progress of the KUTS project, backed by RM 900 million in funding for 2024, amid a record-high RM9 billion development expenditure.
The group will also undertake the construction of 148 linked houses and accompanying ancillary structures, with an anticipated completion date of April 1, 2025.
