LONDON: The new owners of London's 10 Trinity Square — KOP Properties, the real estate investment and management arm of Singapore-based KOP Group, and Reignwood Group, who together recently acquired the building — have unveiled the redevelopment plans for the historic landmark building.

This joint venture partnership will transform the historic landmark building into a world-class mixed use scheme to include 37 private residences, luxury 120-bedroom hotel, spa, restaurant offering and club with architecture by Woods Bagot and residential interiors designed by award-winning luxury international architecture and interior design practice, David Collins Studio.

Planning is due to be granted in summer 2011 with completion of the project by 2014. 10 Trinity Square is a Grade II listed building overlooking the River Thames and The Tower of London, and close to the World Heritage site of Tower Bridge, and The Swiss Re Tower. 10 Trinity Square was designed by Sir Edwin Cooper as the headquarters of the Port of London Authority and officially opened in 1922. The apartments will be released for sale this year.

Residents will be able to enjoy the benefits of the 10 Trinity Hotel, including the spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, and a private residences 24 hour concierge. 10 Trinity residents will be provided with complementary membership to the 10 Trinity Club and will benefit from priority reservations and privileges at KOP and Reignwood hotels, resorts and yacht cruises around the world.

KOP Properties is known for its luxurious projects such as Ritz-Carlton Residences and Hamilton Scotts in Singapore, while Beijing-based investment group Reignwood Group has a diversified portfolio of luxury lifestyle products and services in China and globally. KOP Properties has also been involved in the extensive refurbishment and renewal of an old office building in the financial district of Singapore, which is similar to the works it will undertake on 10 Trinity Square.
