Bina Puri bags RM80m project management job in Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 1): Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has bagged an RM80 million contract from Arus Sutera Sdn Bhd to provide project management consultancy services for 440 units of walk-up flats under the People's Housing Project in Pitas, Sabah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Bina Puri said its wholly-owned subsidiary Bina Puri Sdn Bhd had accepted the award for the role of project management consultant for the proposed project. Works will be completed within 42 months.

"The project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of Bina Puri Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2016," it added.

At 2.12pm today, Bina Puri shares were traded unchanged at 39.5 sen, with 607,700 shares done. Its market capitalisation stood at RM95.62 million. — theedgemarkets.com
