Bolton Bhd posts a 126% increase in profit before tax for 3Q

KUALA LUMPUR: Bolton Bhd recorded a profit before tax increase of 126% to RM12.33 million for 3Q2010, compared with its corresponding quarter of the preceding year of RM5.44 million. Its revenue for 3Q2010 was RM63.44 million.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Feb 24, the main driver to the group’s results continues to be the property development business, which contributed about 86%.

Property development projects such Tijani in Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur, and Taman Tasik Prima in Puchong, Selangor, contributed RM35 million to 3Q2010’s revenue, it said.
