SYDNEY: Crown International Holdings Group Ltd, a Sydney-based boutique developer has released additional 26 units of the remaining 184 units of its V by Crown development. Crown Group director of sales and marketing Adam Sparkes said the release of these units is due to heavy demand.

The A$309 million (RM918 million) V by Crown is located in Paramatta, Sydney. It is less than a kilometre from three major local landmarks — the national heritage-listed Parramatta Park, Westfield Shopping Centre Parramatta and Parramatta train station.

“Property buyers are realising they can have it all, the resort-style facilities and low maintenance lifestyle of a luxury apartment combined with easy access to parklands and connection with the outdoors they might have from a property with its own backyard,” Sparkes said.

It has sold more than 335 apartments out of a total of 519 units, since its launch in 2012. The built-ups for the apartments start from 473.6 sq ft to 1,162.5 sq ft, ranging from studios to 3-bedroom apartments. Prices start from A$490,000. The building’s innovative design includes two communal landscaped garden areas accessible to residents and guests.

Often called Parramatta’s Vertical Village, V by Crown will feature a pool, gym, sauna, conference facilities, music room, theatrette, a library, and a ground level retail and restaurant precinct. The striking tower was designed by Allen Jack+Cottier Architects Pte Ltd with interiors designed by Japanese-Australian architect Koichi Takada. The group expects V by Crown to be completed in 2016.

The group said Paramatta Park attracts more than 1.7 million visitors each year and plays host to some well-attended events, such as Australia Day and the Sydney Symphony.
