KUALA LUMPUR: The newly completed Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya has leased out 70% of its lettable units, said managing director of Couture Homes Sdn Bhd Datuk Sean Ng. Couture Homes is a member of the Mammoth Empire Group of Companies.

Empire Shopping Gallery has a gross built-up area 600,000 sq ft with 180 stores offering a choice of international and domestic brands, F&B outlets as well as a gourmet supermarket, said Ng at the topping up ceremony of the building. He said the neighbourhood shopping gallery is expected to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2010. 

Empire Shopping Gallery is designed to be a contemporary lifestyle centre and has an entire level dedicated to children called the Empire Junior floor. “Its primary focus is Edutainment, featuring a centre for learning IT and the arts such as ballet,” said Ng. 

The mall is part of the freehold Empire Subang commercial development which also comprise Empire Soho (small office/home office), Empire Tower and a boutique hotel. Empire Soho consists of 210 units while the Empire Tower is a 12-storey office block.

The 13-storey boutique hotel called the Empire Hotel has 199 rooms and is Mammoth Empire’s first foray into the hotel industry.
