KUALA LUMPUR: The Property and Investors Alliance (PAIA) is organising its inaugural property exhibition for three days, starting on Friday, Sept 24 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

According to PAIA, the exhibition will feature established and new property developers, investment institutions, and government advisories offering assistance to the public as well as a conference on property investing.

"Topics at the conference will revolve around current issues such as local and international property markets' post economic recovery, franchise opportunities, an overview on Asian economies and what it means for us as well as stock markets of 2011," said PAIA director of events Mark Smith.

Speakers include Mark Laudi, a journalist and broadcaster who has appeared on CNBC Asia. He will be giving a talk entitled What property investors can learn from the stock market. Another notable speaker will be Singapore property site Property Guru (www.propertyguru.com.sg) CEO and co-founder Steve Melhuish, who will talk about current trends in the property market.

Smith added that exhibitions in Asia are one of the fastest growing marketing methods with the unique advantage of placing exhibitors in direct contact with their market.

PAIA is a league of real estate related professionals comprising developers, investors, government bodies and business leaders.
