PETALING JAYA: Kha Seng Group (KSG) showcased over 138,000 sq ft of event space in Kuala Lumpur, at its KL Alive event recently.

The event was held at its newly-opened 302-room boutique business hotel Vivatel Kuala Lumpur, in Jalan Loke Yew.

“Kuala Lumpur is a city that is constantly buzzing with activities and commerce. From concerts to product launches, exhibitions to conferences and parties, there is evidently a high demand for venue space in the city and a severe shortage of viable options,” KSG CEO Aaron Soo said at the event.

He said the success of an event venue is dependent on several factors such as visibility, accessibility, safety, comfort, parking space and location.

Among the event spaces showcased were the 62,000 sq ft purpose-built concert hall Star Stage@KWC in Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC) Fashion Mall; Viva Home Shopping Mall’s 55,000 sq ft Expo Hall; the 1,000-seat Grand Ballroom in Vivatel Kuala Lumpur; and the outdoor stage in Central Market Kuala Lumpur.

“Everybody wants to be in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. As a niche developer with properties in strategic locations in KL, our event spaces are ideal locations for events of any kind — be they large or small. What we offer as an added incentive besides location, is the ease of flexibility,” said Soo.

Over 500 guests attended the KL Alive event and were treated to lucky draws with prizes totalling RM380,000, including suite stays in Vivatel Kuala Lumpur and complimentary space rental.

KSG has diverse business interests, strengthened by experience and the knowledge of wholesale business and a strong retail focus. Its projects include the Central Market Kuala Lumpur, Viva Home Shopping Mall, KWC Fashion Mall and Vivatel Kuala Lumpur.
