KUALA LUMPUR: Construction group Naim Holdings Bhd (Naim)'s net profit dropped by 11% to RM13.993 million for the first quarter ending March 31, 2010 from RM15.848 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Revenue on the other hand rose 29.4% in the quarter under review to RM123.353 million from RM95.307 million recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.

The Group in its listing on Bursa Malaysia on May 25 said its associate Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd contributed positively to the earnings of the Group for 1Q2010.
