KUALA LUMPUR: Retail and office units at the Oasis Ara Damansara project in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya are seeing encouraging take-ups with the latest shops and office units in Block C and Block D having sold 60% and 90% respectively, since their launch in late November last year.

An official from the developer Sime Darby Brunsfield Sdn Bhd told theedgeproperty.com that the 15.78-acre integrated development comprising corporate office towers, shops, office suites and serviced apartments has a gross development value (GDV) of RM1 billion.

Blocks C and D offer 88 and 142 units of office suites respectively. The 42 retail units are sized from 1,569 sq ft to 2,431 sq ft and located mainly on the ground floors. They are priced at between RM625 psf and RM700 psf while the office suites range from 927 sq ft to 2,988 sq ft and with prices from RM450 psf to RM464 psf.

The entire project is expected to be completed in March 2012. According to the official, another three phases comprising several blocks of 12-storey office towers and 2-storey food & beverage kiosks will be launched in the near future. The freehold development has a total net area of 1,939,266 sq ft.

Previous launches at the Oasis comprising 288 shopoffice units and 326 units of serviced apartments have all been sold.

Oasis Ara Damansara is located opposite Saujana Golf & Country Club and is easily accessible via Persiaran Tropicana, Jalan Subang and the New Klang Valley Expressway.
