Amanda GohKUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26): The Malaysian Annual Real Estate Convention 2016 (Marec’16)  -- which will be held on March 11 and 12 -- is set to bring the real estate fraternity together to recharge for the year ahead and gain new knowledge for professional development.

“Our local high flyers are Chris Tee of Property Hub, Colin Wong of H Simon Real Estate, Gerard Chan of Three Acres Real Estate, Nick Lu and Shermine Lim of CBD Properties, as well as Wong Yau Long of Cornerstone Realty,” said organiser the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA).

MIEA said this year’s convention will comprise relevant topics and leading industry speakers to equip participants with knowledge, business tools, and the mindset to face challenges.

“We will make sure our participants leave Marec’16 recharged with new ideas and strategies that will help them drive their business to greater heights,” said Marec’16 convention chairwoman Amanda Goh (pictured).

Moreover, MIEA added that the convention will also highlight emerging and leading players in a series of in-depth panels on the latest ideas and strategies across the industry.

Marec’16’s customary Million Dollar Roundtable Forum on March 11 will also discuss the strategies of the industry’s top performers to ride out tough times.

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, MIEA is offering the tickets to all registered real estate agents and negotiators in Malaysia at a flat rate of RM688.

After the festive promotion, the conference rates are RM1, 299 (for registration by March 7) and RM 1,399 (on-site registration).

Meanwhile, MIEA members can claim a RM300 discount and other discount packages are also available.
