Roomorama launches instant bookings

SINGAPORE: Roomorama.com, an online platform for professionally managed short-term rentals of individual properties, has launched an Instant Booking service for selected properties on its website.

The first of its kind service in the short-term rental market allows travellers to book an apartment or a home as easily as booking a hotel room. The service is currently only available for selected properties in Europe.

“It works just like it sounds: find a room, book it, done. No waiting and you get your confirmation in real time. Obviously this service makes us very excited for our users, who will still be able to enjoy what Roomorama offers without sacrificing the efficiency of a hotel room booking,” says Roomorama.com co-founder and CEO Federico Folcia in a statement.

Roomorama has also teamed up with Wego, a leading travel meta-search site in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East to make this service more accessible to travellers in Asia. Roomorama listings are now available on the vacation rental section of Wego.

Wego has 400,000 holiday rental options in 16,000 destinations. With this strategic partnership, Roomorama will provide Wego users with an inventory of close to 100,000 unique travel accommodations, located in more than 5,000 destinations around the world.
