KUALA LUMPUR: Tropicana Corp Bhd plans to launch RM2.6 billion worth of properties in the Klang Valley and Johor in the second half of the year.

There will be 471 residential units launched for the Tropicana Heights project in Kajang, executive director of marketing and sales Pam Loh told reporters after the launch of the group’s flagship property gallery yesterday.

“The new units will comprise link houses and cluster homes, which will be launched in October,” she said, adding that prices start from RM800,000.

“As for Tropicana Gardens, we are putting up the third serviced apartment block, Cyprus, for sale in October or November,” Loh said.

Tropicana Gardens is a mixed residential development located in Kota Damansara, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM400 million.

The group will also be launching The Residences here, which has a GDV of RM700 million.

In Johor, Tropicana will launch the second tower, Bora Residences, at its Tropicana Danga Bay project. It will have 119 residental units priced between RM1,200 and RM1,300 per sq ft.

Tropicana Aman in Canal City, South Klang, is also expected to be launched at year end.
