PORT DICKSON: TSR Capital Bhd, the developer of the PD Waterfront mixed development, plans to develop 4.45ha of land on Pulau Arang, near here.

TSR Director Datuk Wan Abd Razak Ismail said the island project is a strategic partnership between the company and the government to boost the nation’s tourism sector.

“The project involves the construction of a cable car from Pulau Arang to PD Waterfront which will be transformed into PD Vista by 2019.

“The island will have a buggy ride, spa, aquarium, canopy walkway, water taxi jetty, restaurants, watersports facilities, dinosaur and wild animal park, fishing facilities and more,” he told reporters yesterday.

Wan Abd Razak said the eco-friendly planned development, which will complement the PD Waterfront, is still at the negotiation stage.

The first phase of the PD Waterfront, the commercial zone, has begun operations, and when fully completed in 2019, it will have hotels, banks, an international school, private hospital, convention centre and serviced apartments. — Bernama
