Wan Abdullah named Fiabci's Property CEO 2011

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Wan Abdullah Wan Ibrahim, managing director and CEO of UEM Land Holdings Bhd, was named Property CEO 2011 at the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci) Malaysia Property Awards 2011 last Saturday.

"I am greatly honoured, humbled and at the same time excited with this honour, not only for me and my family, but also for UEM Land group as a whole," he said in his acceptance speech.

UEM Land also won the Master Plan category for its Nusajaya development while 10 Mont'Kiara, developed by subsidiary Sunrise Bhd, was acknowledged as the best residential high-rise development.

UEM Land is a repeat winner in the Master Plan category. In 2010, its Puteri Harbour garnered the top prize in the category and it was second at the Fiabci Prix d'Excellence Awards 2010. The 10 Mont'Kiara project also received international recognition, winning the award for Best Residential High-Rise Architecture at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards in 2009.
