Zecon accepts contract from Unimas

KUALA LUMPUR: Construction group, Zecon Bhd has been awarded an RM182 million contract to design and build the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Institute of Health and Community Medicine of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Oct 12, Zecon said the duration of the project is 30 months from the date of possession of the site, which has been scheduled on Oct 26, 2009.

The defects liability period for the project is 24 months, it said.
