Of the 11 new Covid-19 cases, eight were imported cases while three were locally transmitted

The Covid-19 infections related to the Sivagangga cluster were found in Kedah, Perlis and Penang.

Meanwhile, active cases fell further to 166 from 174 reported by the ministry yesterday, leaving only one patient in the intensive care unit.  

In a bourse filing today, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd has accepted the offer for sale from Kumpulan Tanjung Balai Sdn Bhd for the land located in Mukim Labu, Sepang, Selangor.

Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 15 more patients have been discharged, raising the number of recoveries to 8,728. This represents a recovery rate of 96.3%.

No new death was reported today, marking a fifth day with no mortality.

The two new cases today are the lowest daily figure of new cases recorded since July 16, when three new cases were reported.
