Market watchers have maintained their "buy" ratings on Gamuda Bhd, as they expect the engineering and construction group to deliver strong quarters ahead for the financial year ending July 31, 2024 (FY2024), on the back of a record-high order book and unbilled sales.

Gamuda Bhd’s Singapore branch (GBSG), an operating unit of the group, has secured a S$509.568 million (RM1.77 billion) design and construction contract for the West Coast station and tunnel.

Gamuda Land unveiled on Thursday, its first hotel project, ASAI Gamuda Cove. The hotel is part of the 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove township development in Selangor and will be managed by Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hotel arm of Thailand-based hotel and property development company Dusit International.

The developer also bagged the sub-awards for Best Quantitative and Qualitative attributes, the first time a single company has won all three awards, scoring a hat-trick for Gamuda Land.

Gamuda Land on Thursday announced the topping off for Maya Bay Residences in Gamuda Cove in Kuala Langat, Selangor. It is also the first high-rise residential project of the 1,530-acre township development.
