Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd is acquiring Carlton Gardens Sdn Bhd for RM9.5 million, which would see the loss-making property developer penetrate into the government's affordable housing programme.  

The group said there was no formal valuation conducted on the property, which also includes a single-storey detached factory with an integral double-storey office, a guard house, a pump house and a refuse chamber.

The Series 1 7% notes, due in 2019, was issued by Mudajaya Ventures Ltd (MVL) under its US$200 million Euro Medium Term Note Programme.
