KUALA LUMPUR: Four companies have again sought a court ruling to enforce four conditional sale and purchase agreements (SPAs) signed in 2003, requiring Gopeng Bhd to dispose of 885 ha of plantation land in Kota Bahroe Group Estate, Perak for RM37.15 million.

KUALA LUMPUR: Penang-based developer Ivory Properties Group is set to launch the first phase of The Peak known as The Peak Residences in Penang in 1Q2010. The Peak is located at the foot of Mount Erskine in Tanjung Tokong. The 13.7-acre project has a gross development value of RM400 million.

PETALING JAYA: Ho Hup Construction Co Bhd’s proposed sale of two parcels of land was passed with a 60.06% majority in an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Thursday, Dec 31.

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd announced on Dec 30 that it is disposing 65 properties to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for RM302.5 million as it is not in the business of owning properties.

The group is expected to gain up to RM171 million from the disposal, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: Hunza Properties Bhd has entered into sale and purchase agreement (SPA) to acquire four pieces of freehold land in Penang from Ong Thye Peng and Ong Gaik Kee for a total cash consideration of RM82.093 million. Both Ong Thye Peng and Ong Gaik Kee are trustees of the estate of the late Ong Joo Sun.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB) has entered into a Memorandum of Arrangement (MOA) with Menteri  Besar Selangor (Incorporated) (MBI) whereby MBI will provide KHSB a specific grant for the principal amount of RM115.101 million.
