KUALA LUMPUR (March 4): The Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) today objected to the leave for judicial review being sought by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pictured) to challenge Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s advice to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to suspend Parliament during the Emergency period.
High Court asks Anwar's lawyers to submit whether state of emergency referral questions will be heard first
KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 10): The High Court has instructed lawyers representing opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to submit whether they want the referral questions he posed to the Federal Court regarding the state of emergency to be heard first, ahead of his application for leave.
PUTRAJAYA (June 22): The Shah Alam High Court will deliver its decision on July 22 regarding a discovery application from the family of slain Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu to obtain a copy of the witness statements of the accused as well as the other witnesses who had testified in the trial.
