According to Ter, Tan has proven leadership and exceptional execution skills, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, which will prove invaluable to Sunsuria in fortifying and expanding its position as a market leader both in Malaysia and the broader region.
The group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Sunsuria Symphony Sdn Bhd (SSSB) will be acquiring MLSB’s shares through internally-generated funds from Ong Thuan Bok and Kho Weng Kooi — 640,000 shares (64%) from Ong and 160,000 shares (16%) from Kho.
The two parties have formed a joint venture company Sunsuria IAT (M) Sdn Bhd, which is 51%-owned by Sunsuria, while the IAT holds the remaining 49%.
Sunsuria Care Hub, which is open daily, is managed by a doctor, assisted by two trained nurses, to facilitate the township’s residents in obtaining basic health advice services, either face-to-face or via a phone call, and WhatsApp.
The “highly anticipated luxury co-working and event space’s modern and trendy interior” will be “designed, built and managed by Colony with Sunsuria overseeing as a stakeholder”.
In a bourse filing on Friday (Dec 2), the property developer said the group’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Symphony Hills Sdn Bhd, entered into three sale and purchase agreements with Sunsuria’s 65%-owned subsidiary, Tapah Land Development Sdn Bhd, for the disposals.
The 17 lots of land are located in Mukim Batang Padang and Mukim Bidor.
The improved revenue performance was mainly contributed by Monet Garden at Sunsuria City township as well as from the group’s on-going projects; Sunsuria Forum (Phase 2), an integrated residential and commercial development at Setia Alam; Tangerine Suites at Sunsuria City township, and Bangsar Hill Park (Block A, D, and E).
