In a joint statement with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) on Friday, EPMB said that the new facility will unfold in several phases at the HICOM Pegoh Industrial Park in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
The mature electronics company signed the MOA with Echo Asia (Hong Kong) Ltd, an affiliate of Hong Kong-listed Echo International Holdings Group Ltd, and CHEC Construction (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.

In a bourse filing on Friday, EcoFirst said the proposed disposal provides an opportunity for the company to realise the value of these properties, which have appreciated since the project's completion in 2019.
