MEF urges Putrajaya to set up a Covid vaccine research centre

KUALA LUMPUR (June 14): There is a need for the government to form a national vaccine research centre employing local experts and resources with the objective to ensure a long-term vaccine supply for the country, said Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) In a media statement on June 13, MEF president Datuk Dr Syed Hussain Syed Husman JP said Malaysia should have its own specialised vaccine research centre to look at the long-term prospects of producing the country’s own vaccines.
