Exsim Hospitality said its wholly-owned subsidiary Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd (ECSB) had on May 30 accepted a letter of award (LOA) from TotalBuildz Sdn Bhd for the proposed job.
For the first nine months of FY2025, Exsim Hospitality logged a net profit of RM6.
The project began on Friday and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2026, with a defect liability period lasting up to 27 months after the Certificate of Practical Completion is issued.
Aperia Cloud was set to be the first tenant in Phase 1 of Exsim’s data centre project.
This came after Singapore initiated an investigation on whether servers from US firms Dell and Supermicro containing the chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) applications ended up in unknown final destinations after being first shipped to Singapore-based companies and then exported to Malaysia.
The largest contract, valued at RM100 million, was awarded by Uni Land Sdn Bhd for works on a 456-room hotel at Empire City.
Exsim Hospitality plans to allocate RM86.
Under the contract, Exsim Concepto will serve as the nominated sub-contractor for interior design works covering common areas and unit carpentry for the 42-level serviced apartment, which features 508 residential units, three strata shop units, and various facilities.
It will comprise 420 serviced apartments units with built-ups ranging from 484 to 904 sq ft, as well as four retail units.
