Shareholders of the JV company, Isthmus Developments Sdn Bhd, mutually decided to abort the project as it is "no longer desired by the shareholders", CMSB said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The building, which is currently vacant, will serve as the office for Apex Group and its subsidiaries, the company said.
The construction and property development firm's wholly owned unit QC Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd accepted the contract from LCDA Real Estate Sdn Bhd, according to the Kuching-based company’s bourse filing on Wednesday.
The new proposal also requires FSPs to verify the actual purpose of the financing by requesting supporting documents from the financial consumer before treating additional financing as home financing.
This marks the second project secured by the group this month, following the RM26.
