16 Sierra generating good interest

KUALA LUMPUR: Over 400 buyers have registered themselves since IOI Properties Bhd opened its latest residential development 16 Sierra for registration this morning (Jan 12), an official of the company told theedgeproperty.com.

IOI Properties Bhd is targeting a 100% take up within a week of the launch of 16 Sierra’s Phase 1 and 2, the official added.  Construction started in November 2009 and the entire project is scheduled for completion in early 2012.

16 Sierra is located in the downtown of Puchong Precinct, neighbouring Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. The 535-acre development has a gross development value (GDV) of RM1 billion. Phase 1 and 2, consisting of 250 units of 2-storey terraced houses will be launched on Jan 30.

16 Sierra is planned as a green township, placing particular emphasis on its landscape. It offers 16 theme gardens such as Fragrant Gardens, Canopy Gardens and Forest Gardens. A major landscape feature is the 7.2-acre Central Park, designed as a place for residents to come together for various activities and relaxation.

The development is located near the Sri Kembangan interchange and is accessible via South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and connected to Elite Highway and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) among others.  Amenities are a plenty with IOI Mall, Tesco hypermarket, Jusco and Alamanda shopping complexes within a short drive away. Also found within the area are international schools, various government offices and several universities.
