Robson Hill Seputeh property

KUALA LUMPUR (July 11): First-time developer and entertainment connoisseur Datuk Alan Foo had the idea of bringing the concept of “celebrity homes” to the east during a celebrity homes tour in Beverly Hills some 2½ year ago. “After I have done my research, I realised there weren’t any celebrity concept neighbourhoods in Malaysia. So, I envisioned bringing celebrities to live together in one project,” he says.

How does Foo plan to get celebrities to purchase a unit in Robson Hill? The director of developer Instant Bonus Sdn Bhd has been the managing director of Star Planet Sdn Bhd, a concert organiser in Malaysia, since 2002. The company has a portfolio of more than 100 concerts that featured celebrities such as Jacky Cheung, Jay Chou, Wonder Girls, Super Junior, Air Supply, Michael Learns to Rock and Kenny G.

While the official launch date of the RM500 million project is yet to be fixed, Foo reveals that some celebrities have already booked units. They include entertainers Alam Tam, Hacken Lee, singer Emme Wong, actors Wong Hei and Kent Cheng, film producer Wong Jing, film director Patrick Kong, band member of The Wynners Bennett Pang and RHA Media CEO Datuk R Rajendran.

The freehold 1.4-acre land is situated in Jalan Robson, Seputeh. Just a 10-minute walk from Mid Valley Megamall and a five-minute drive from KL Sentral, Robson Hills is due for completion in 2018.
