HONG KONG: Citigroup has appointed Matthew Mrozinski, formerly at Deutsche Bank, as head of real estate banking for Asia, the US bank said in a statement on Tuesday, June 22.

Mrozinski has been part of Deutsche Bank's Asia ex-Japan real estate business since 2006 and was involved with key deals, such as Wynn Macau's $1.6 billion (RM5.17 billion) initial public offering and Greentown China's $400 million high yield bond purchase, Citi said.

Citi said this was a new position as real estate coverage for the bank in Asia had previously been focused on country coverage. -- Reuters
