Empire Shopping Gallery leased 90% of lettable space

KUALA LUMPUR: Newly launched Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya has leased 90% of the mall’s net lettable space to date, said the managing director of Mammoth Empire Holding Sdn Bhd Datuk Sean Ng.

Speaking at the grand opening ceremony of the shopping mall in SS16 on Friday, July 30, Ng said the mall, which opened for business late-April, has attracted visitors not only from Subang Jaya but also from Shah Alam, Klang, Puchong, and further.

Empire Shopping Gallery has a gross built-up area of 600,000 sq ft with a net lettable area (NLA) of about 350,000 sq ft. It houses 180 stores offering a choice of international and domestic brands, F&B outlets as well as a gourmet supermarket. Among the tenants are Tangs, Toys ‘R’ Us, Popular Book Store, Royal Selangor and Jaya Grocer.

The mall is part of the freehold Empire Subang commercial development, which also comprises Empire SoHo (small office/home office), Empire Tower and a boutique hotel. Empire SoHo consists of 210 units while the Empire Tower is a 12-storey office block with a built-up area of 185,000 sq ft.

The 13-storey boutique hotel called the Empire Hotel has 199 rooms and is Mammoth Empire’s first foray into the hotel industry.
