KUALA LUMPUR: Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O) is set to launch the second phase of St Mary Residences, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s central business district (CDB) along Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan P Ramlee and Jalan Tengah on Oct 1.

The second phase called Tower A consists of a 28-storey block totalling 288 units. There are rooftop penthouses with built-ups of 6,000 sq ft, 2- and 3-bedroom suites between 1,453 and 2,260 sq ft and 1-bedroom studio units sized at 1,135 sq ft. Units are tagged from RM1.1 million.

Tower A also includes a 2-storey retail annexe featuring bistros and wellness spas. The project is a joint-venture development between E&O and Lion Industries Corp Bhd.

Its first phase saw an 80% take-up rate for the 169-unit Tower C within a month from its soft launch in June, with an average selling price of RM1,000 psf.

St Mary Residences, with a gross development value of RM1 billion, sits on what was previously St Mary’s School and is slated for completion in June 2012. The 1.2-acre freehold development features three towers of 28-storey serviced apartments with a total of 657 units.
