KUALA LUMPUR: Arlida Ariff, the former president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Iskandar Investment Bhd, has joined hospitality outfit and property developer Karambunai Corp Bhd as managing director of Karambunai Integrated Resort City, the group announced to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, Mar 15.
Prior to joining Iskandar Investment, Arlida was executive director of KLCC Projeks Sdn Bhd, the development and project management arm of KLCC Property Holdings Bhd, having spent 15 years with the group.
She was involved in the development of the Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis and Exxon-Mobile Towers, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the KLCC Park and phase one of Putrajaya which included the Prime Minister's office and residence which totalled just under RM25 billion including building and infrastructure works.
Arlida began her career with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and was involved in large-scale gas transmission and processing projects.
