KUALA LUMPUR: I-Bhd's pre-tax loss for its first quarter ended March 31, 2010 fell to RM1.45
million from RM1.681 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue fell to RM819,000 from RM1.467 million previously.

The current quarter loss was contributed by lower interest income and no sale or disposal of properties during the quarter, said I-Bhd in a Bursa announcement on Monday May 17.

While the Group's easing revenue for the coming quarter is expected to improve, any significant turnaround would be dependent on the sales of completed units. Given the current improved property market, the Group's performance for 2010 is expected to be satisfactory, the company said.
