Ken Holdings sees net profit of RM19m

KUALA LUMPUR: Ken Holdings Bhd posted a net profit of RM19 million for financial year 2010 (FYE 2010) ended Dec 21, 2010, compared to the net profit of RM9.9 million posted for FYE 2009.
For its fourth quarter (4Q 2010), the company recorded a net profit of RM9.89 million on the back of revenue of RM25.61 million, it said on Monday, Feb 21 in a Bursa Malaysia announcement.
Its mixed development project in Shah Alam — comprising Ken Rimba Legian's double storey link houses and Ken Rimba Commercial Centre — are progressing on schedule. The project was launched in September 2010.
The company recommended a first and final dividend comprising of 4.5 sen per ordinary share less tax (25%) and another 0.55 sen per ordinary share tax exempt dividend. The proposed dividend will be finalised following the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, which will be announced at a later date.
