KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) acquired 19.18 acres of freehold industrial land in HICOM Industrial Estate in Shah Alam for RM45.5 million or about RM54.45 psf, it announced on Bursa Malaysia on May 19.

The land was acquired by Mah Sing through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Multi Synergy Group Sdn Bhd from Quill Industrial Properties Sdn Bhd.

The group plans to develop semi-detached factories with layout flexibility options on the land. The project is to be christened iParc 2@Shah Alam and will have a GDV of about RM143 million.

The area has direct access from the Kesas expressway via Persiaran Kuala Selangor and Persiaran Hulu Selangor.

The site is also located near established housing estates, providing a catchment of skilled and unskilled labour force from neighbouring townships.

Subang Jaya, Kota Kemuning, Klang, Sunway and Shah Alam are within a 10km radius of iParc 2@Shah Alam.
