Reapfield celebrates silver jubilee

KUALA LUMPUR: Real estate agency Reapfield Properties Sdn Bhd, which has a work force of 650 and 13 offices, is marking its 25th anniversary in the industry.

It will be celebrating its silver jubilee with the theme of “Celebrating 25 years-Building on Excellence” at One World hotel with 600 guests on March 26.

“We owe our success to the people who have continued supporting us and our work force with the heart and commitment to make us the leading firm in Malaysia,” said president David Ong in a statement released on March 25.

The night will see awards presented to top producers and top offices of 2009 and those who have supported their growth.

Incorporated in 1986, Reapfield started from a 600 sq ft office with four employees.

It is now a leading real estate agency with a stronghold in the residential and commercial sectors. Last year, it saw 4,000 transactions amounting to RM2.16 billion worth of properties. 

Reapfield is now making inroads into the industrial and new property sectors, and also hopes to position itself to export its name, the statement said. 

Last year, Reapfield was awarded the inaugural MIEA Real Estate Agency of The Year award. It also received the SME recognition award and was listed as a “Superbrand”.
