SEREMBAN: The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (Rehda), Negri Sembilan branch, will hold Malaysia Property Expo (Mapex) 2010 over three days from April 23 at the Seremban Parade complex here.

REHDA Negeri Sembilan chairman Datuk Soam Heng Choon said the event had gained the support and participation of 18 developers.

"A total of 1,432 units with estimated value of RM358 million will be showcased during this MAPEX 2010," he said here Tuesday, April 13.

The types of property on offer include 1- and 2-storey terraced houses, 1- and 2-storey semi-detached houses, bungalows, shop ffices, low- and medium-cost apartments and commercial lots.

Soam said the theme for this year's Mapex is "Go Green" with Nippon Paint Sdn Bhd and Monier Sdn Bhd being the two sponsors.

Nippon Paint is a leader in anti-corrosion and chemical-resistant technology in paint while Monier is a pioneer in green technology for roofing solutions.

"The first 80 home buyers who have executed sales and purchase agreements for their properties during the three-day expo are entitled to a lucky draw. We will give away branded electrical goods for the lucky home buyers," Soam said, adding that the electrical goods included 32in LCD TV, washing machine, refrigerator and other home appliances.

"A total of RM20,000 worth of prizes are waiting to be won," he said.

On April 24, Monier Sdn Bhd will give a product talk followed by CIMB Bank Bhd with a talk on "Financing Your Property".

A colouring contest themed "Home Sweet Home" will be held on April 25 for children aged four to nine.

"We hope this expo will be a one-stop centre for potential buyers to purchase their ideal properties and enjoy the additional incentives and benefits offered by the participating developers," Soam said. -- Bernama
